Welcome to the Trade-Ideas website overview video. This video will introduce you to the Trade-Ideas website and covers the following topics: What is Trade-Ideas? Where to get help using Trade-Ideas Pro, the application or the browser-based Trade-Ideas for the web. How to set up an account. Where to find the latest changes to the Trade-Ideas software. and How to access advanced features and perform account maintenance. If you are new to Trade-Ideas, click the About Trade-Ideas link at the bottom of the page to learn more about what Trade-Ideas can offer you. Tools such as real-time streaming alerts, end of day scans, event based back-testing, or fully automated trading are all part of the Trade-Ideas suite of trading tools. Trade-Ideas software comes in two forms, an application you can run on your PC or as a web based product that runs inside your browser. To download Trade-Ideas Pro and learn more about the downloadable application, click the download pro now link. Other helpful resources on this page include the user’s guide, additional downloadable sounds and information to assist with firewalls and proxy servers. To get started with the web-based version of Trade-Ideas, click the Browser Quick Start link. Start from one of our pre-defined configurations or build one from scratch. You can learn more about Trade-Ideas in a number of places. The Video Tour link provides short instructional videos on most features of the software. Most videos are 3 to 5 minutes in length and include a transcript. The Online Help link provides a detailed definition of all the available alerts and filters. Click on an icon to be taken to the specifics of the respective alert or filter. Similar linking is available within the software. If you left click on an alert or filter icon, you will be taken to its definition on this help page. The FAQ link at the top of the page offers a list of frequently asked questions along with detailed answers. The latest changes to the Trade-Ideas software can be found through the What’s New link. Click here to stay up-to-date with the latest alert and filter additions. This page is also available as an RSS link. When you are ready to sign up, click on Create a New Account. Fill in the short form and then choose a payment plan for your account. Once your account is established, click on the Advanced Features and Account Maintenance link where you can log into the website and perform account maintenance or modify your user preferences. Notable links on this page include The Entitlements section, where you gain access to exchange data by completing the respective exchange agreements. Forgot your password and Change your password. The User Preferences sections allow customization of Trade-Ideas web. The Stock Research link provides some insight into the historical baseline information for each stock we track. Enter a symbol to view this information. The OddsMaker is an add-on module to Trade-Ideas Pro that lets you back-test any alert and filter combination created in Trade-Ideas. Fine tune your strategies and know in advance which ones produce profitable trades. To find out more about Automated Trading using Trade-Ideas, click on the animation in the bottom left of the home page. Here you will find a list of brokers that have integrated Trade-Ideas into their trading software. If you need to find something on the website but can’t remember where, click on the sitemap.
